Sakura - Cherry Blossoms 桜

I had not seen Sakura - cherry blossoms for the past 11 years.
You may already know that Sakura is the national flower of Japan, and people have been admiring the Sakura for hundreds of years. In Japan, when they bloom, people gather under the trees to have a feast (party) called Hanami.

When I saw Sakura blossoming, the view struck a string of my heart. I kept hearing this note throughout my one-week stay in Japan.

この11年間桜を見ていませんでした。（咲いているところを。）

桜が満開な様子を久しぶりに見たその瞬間、心の琴線が震えたのを感じました。1週間の日本滞在の間、その琴線が震える音を何度となく聞かせてもらいました。

Then I noticed how I have been surrounded by Sakura during this trip. I'd been wanting to read a book called "Sankara" written by Randy Taguchi, and I got to do it when I visited Japan this time.  I noticed that the front and back cover of the books have Sakura, too. 

そしてこの旅の間ずっと、桜に囲まれていることに気づきました。 田口ランディさんの「サンカーラ」をずっと読みたくて、今回日本に帰ってきてから読んだのですが、そのカバーにも桜の写真が。

And I even found cherry blossoms in India! There were these cherry blossoms on the wall of a room where I slept for the first 3 nights. I felt as if Sakura is watching over me.

そしてインドでも桜！着いて最初にお世話になったお家の、寝させてもらった部屋の壁に貼ってあった桜。桜が見守ってくれているように感じました。
