I made basil pesto for the first time.
初めてバジルペストを作ってみた。

If someone asked me what my favorite part of my
current house is, (though no one has ever asked)
I would answer, "These tiles in the kitchen."
今住んでいる家で一番好きなところは何かと聞かれたら
（誰も聞かないけど）、この台所のタイルと答える。

アリさんがこの白い物体を一人でがんばって運んでました。
An ant was carrying this white thing all by him or herself!

I like my new "business" shoes. I feel a little more grown up like
trying on my mom's shoes when I was small.
And these are Dansko - so comfortable even with heels.
新調した「ビジネス」シューズ、気に入っています。
少しお姉さんになったような気がします。
小さい時にお母さんの靴を履いてみたときみたいに。
そしてこのシューズはヒールがあるのにも関わらず、
とっても履き心地が良いのです。
ダンスコという会社の人間工学に基づいて作られた靴なので。

My friend Lisa and I folded these origami cranes in the quiet
evening of summer solstice surrounded by a nice scent
of incense was rejuvenating. Let your prayer soar into the sky. 
これらの鶴を素敵なお友達と、閑かな夏至の夜に良いお香に囲まれ
折っていると、エネルギーが充電されるうに
感じました。祈りたちよ、空高く舞い上がれ。

Yay! I always wished to go in one of those children's tunnels.
Dreams do come true.
イエイ！いつもあの子供用のトンネルに入ってみたいと
思っていたのです。夢が叶いました。

I was sandwiched by love (my friend's children).
愛にサンドイッチされてました。（友達の子ども）

I jumped in when Ho`okipa had some waves.
ホオキパに波が少しあったとき、入ってきました。

I first saw these intense colors of a rainbow in the rear mirror.
Of course I had to pull over.
バックミラーでこんな濃い色の虹を見たときは、
もちろん車を停めましたね。
